My StoryMy name is Michelle. I am a wife to a very amazing man. A momma to a sweet and fun loving little boy. I love God with my whole heart and know that without Him, none of the other things (wife, momma, etc) would be possible. It has been a dream of mine to blog for a long time. Life throws so many things at us and sometimes we are afraid to talk about it. So often we celebrate victories, but no one explains the mess before the victory. That mountain that someone climbed for years before they got to their mountaintop. I want to talk about bravery. |

I’ve had my fair share of victories. I have faith stories that could make your head spin. Those moments where God steps in and really shows up for you. I’ve had personal, physical and emotional healings. I’ve been delivered from the darkest depths of depression. I’ve received promotions and pay raises that I would have never dreamed of. I have a pretty amazing husband. I hug, kiss and hold a faith spoken miracle in my hands everyday.
But, I have also been in valley’s so dark that I felt I was wandering aimless circles in the dark. I have endured depression. Deep, dark depression. I have experienced rejection that has cut me to my very soul. I have had a humiliating job loss. I have lost a baby through miscarriage. I have endured tests, hormone shots, procedures. I have experienced months of feeling like a failure as a woman because I couldn’t get pregnant. I have had to have a surgery for an ectopic pregnancy. I cried many days while holding my colicky baby praying that I could find a way to soothe him.
I want to share all of this with you. I want to share my joys with you. I want to tell you about my struggles. I want to inspire you and show you that you can do anything that you set your hand to. That God can open doors for you that you would have never imagined and that there is a world of possibility for you if you just believe in the person that God has made you to be.
I also want to give you glimpses into our everyday life. The foods we love, the things we learn about, the adventures we take. You are going to see the real us. And I mean this. I am one of those people that just doesn't have the ability to show you the facade. So you may see or hear a crying toddler, pictures with a sink full of dishes in the background, a shot of the floor with a never ending pile of animal fur. (really... where does it all come from? One of them should be bald at this point) You will get my deepest thoughts and my greatest heartaches, but you will also see the laughs, the learning and the education.
I hope you will join me in this adventure. I hope that I can encourage you. I hope I can make you laugh. I hope that in one of my stories you see your opportunity to be brave.
